Club email addresses are: vice_president@stemmersrun.org If you need to contact a club officer, email is also the way to go if you have the access. These addresses are forwarded directly to the home email of each officer and you will get a response as quickly as possible. If you don't use the pc, then pick up the phone and call the discipline officers shown in this mailer. In Remembrance: Ladies and gentlemen, it is with
deep sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our friend and fellow
club member Mr. John K. Bindis on Wednesday, November 19th. John resided in Catonsville, was an avid
shooter who joined Stemmers Run in 1996. John attended nearly every meeting
during his time with us and recently provided refreshments at our monthly
meetings. At our October meeting John volunteered to become our New Member
Chairman. John will be sorely missed by all of his friends, family and club members. In keeping with
his family's wishes Stemmers Run will make a donation to the American Heart
Association. In last months mailer we announced John's volunteer effort with
the following excerpt: "We all thanked John for stepping forward to fill
this important position by giving him a thunderous round of applause."
Thanks again, John! |

● In a letter sent to all club presidents and secretaries from Del Cockey,
AGC VP and Stemmers Run member, it states that " no new member will receive a range badge
without orientation by an AGC committee member." The committee is comprised of trained people
from various clubs that presently provide that orientation. The AGC is well
along in the course that will be a more comprehensive orientation for new
members. It encompasses a video, a complete explanation of range rules, and a
small quiz to assure that the new member understands the purpose and intent of
all range rules and procedures. Once completed the new member will receive
his/her badge. No exceptions! Legislative Report Jim Meyer (410) 833-8310 State Rifle & Pistol Assoc Report J. As in the past, these teaching clinics are open to the public and provide an excellent opportunity for many of our members interested in this shooting discipline to get started. Dates and information will be available in time for our January, 2004 meeting. Action Pistol Jim Meyer 410-833-8310 ● We are proud to announce that Stemmers Run member J. R. Broderick has achieved the NRA Master Classification in Action Pistol. Jim pointed out that it only took 4 years for J.R. to accomplish this difficult task. Congratulations, J.R.! Shotgun Robin Meyer 410-833-8310 ● The AGC has again requested that Stemmers Run help supply volunteers to assist in running the trap range for a number of upcoming shoots. Stu would like to request that anyone with or without trap range experience to pitch-in, the more experienced
members could get oriented in no time. We need at least 3 volunteers, so lets
show the AGC that Stemmers Run can do its part since all clubs in the AGC are
required to provide at least one team to man the trap facilities. Please,
contact Stu or Robin if you are interested in helping Stemmers and the AGC. ● Shotgun shooting is still going strong despite the bad weather we've been experiencing lately.
