The World Famous 2003 Stemmers Run Christmas The December 21st meeting and Christmas Holiday Party opened with our Pledge of Allegiance to Old Glory and a moment of silence for our dearly departed friend and club member John Bindas. At the November meeting Stu promised us that this Christmas Holiday party would be the best ever: Well, Stu sure delivered!! An estimated 125 of our friends, members and family experienced the biggest party in recent memory. Pit beef, a 40 lb roast suckling pig, and more covered dishes and desserts you can imagine were available to consume by everyone. As usual, Stu orchestrated the fun and games and deserves a medal for his efforts. Everyone had fun and many won some great door prizes, including some pretty unique table centerpieces. Again, this club party was a great success and thanks go out to the many volunteers who helped Stu set up and clean up after the party. New 2004 Range Badges are
now on sale. At the Christmas Holiday Party Robin began selling the new 2004 Range Badges. The costs, like last year, will be $150 AGC fees and $30 for Stemmers Club dues .a total of $180 cash or check. Now comes the important part: Robin also wants everyone to know that they will again be on sale at our upcoming meeting this Sunday evening January 18th. However, Robin will then have to return all unsold badges to the AGC by February 3rd. So this it folks, if you don't pick up your badge this Sunday night you'll have to go to the AGC to get one. That process will require picking them up at the AGC's first Tuesday of every month meeting, or sending the required amount to them, then they will mail you the badge. Sounds crazy, but its true!! AGC Report J. Green 410-435-2528 The AGC Elections were held on January 6th, however, the results were not available. Jay will report the results in our upcoming January 18th meeting. Legislative Report Jim Meyer (410) 833-8310 (By recent e-mails Jim reports the following) The Baltimore Sun reported on !2/26 that
Senate President Mike Miller plans to a Senate Rules change when the
Legislature convenes 1/14 to change the number of Senators required to sustain
a filibuster from 16 to 19. There are currently only 14 Republicans and 2
pro-gun Democrats that stopped many of the Anti-gun bills last year. By moving the number needed for filibuster from 16 to 19 we
stand a good chance of having more anti-gun laws shoved down our throats,
especially when it comes to a more restrictive Assault Weapons Ban. We need all
of you to call your State Senator or Delegate and let them know your against this Democrat power grab. Call MD Democrat HQ
at 410-269-8818 or Mike Miller's Office at 301-858--8818 and let him know your against this crap!

Disciplines Hi Power J Green 410-433-2528 The winter 2004 Hi-Power Rifle Clinics will be held again this year at Messick Hall. However, this year it will be run solely by the Monumental Club and will cost new and prospective Hi-Power shooters $50 to attend the clinic, but still free to juniors under 21. This is a stark departure from the past when Monumental and Stemmers jointly ran the clinic and it was free to all who participated. The clinic will be held on Sundays: February 22
