The AGC needs a pallet jack. If you have one or know of one, please contact the AGC.
The AGC turned down the request from the Maryland State Police to use the range as a bullet trap test range. The terms were they wanted to use the range at no charge and the range would be responsible for all insurance and liability.
If anyone is interested in running for office in the AGC, the nominating committee is looking for new officers for next year.
Please do not drink before arriving at the AGC meetings, we need to have clear and level heads to conduct the necessary business and make the best decisions for the organization.
This is all Del had to report as he became disgusted with the goings on and left the meeting.
Legislative Report
Don Hoffman
410-795-4879
Stu and several other members brought up the legislative issues in Don's absence. There are some locations in Baltimore County that are requesting identification to purchase ammo. This is not a Maryland law and you are not required to furnish this information.
The Maryland Safety class will be required by January 1, 2002 in order to purchase a gun in Maryland. When you take this class, you will be placed on a list of gun owners in the state.
Please remember when you are dealing with a police officer in this matter that they are sworn to uphold the laws, whether they agree with them or not.

Fundraising
A club cannot survive without the money necessary to pay the expenses. The price of membership dues is not always enough to cover the expenses of maintaining the club. That does not even include any special events that the club would like to hold. If you have a knack for fundraising techniques or just a desire to become more involved in your club and would like to take on this task, please call Stu.
